Creative Exchange Lab January 2018 exhibition and reception for Open Source Architecture (O-S-A)

Friday, January 5th, 2018, St. Louis, Missouri. Creative Exchange Lab – The Center for Architecture + Design StL (CEL) will host the opening reception for multiple award winning Chandler Ahrens, professor at Washington University in St. Louis and Architect/ co-owner of Open Source Architecture. He will show some recent architectural design projects on January 5th, from 6-8pm. The exhibition will run through January 14th . CEL exhibition & talk will run at Kranzberg Arts Center location; Big Brother Big Sister building on Grand Avenue.

Open Source Architecture, LLC (OSA) is an international architecture firm with locations in St. Louis and Tel Aviv. OSA’s main emphasis is placed on designing dynamic social spaces that encourage interaction between a wide range of people while simultaneously developing a strong sense of identity. We believe that place-making is also linked to the accelerated changes occurring in our contemporary culture, technological and environmental conditions. The exhibition will highlight some of the practice’s award winning designs, including academic buildings, retail environments, commercial space, and residential projects.

CEL Center for Architecture Design + planning, is a unique non-profit organization (501 c 3), that advocates, generates, promotes collaboration and dialogue between the civic community across geographic, ideological and disciplinary boundaries, and the architecture, planning-design professionals in practice, and in academia, through exhibitions, lectures and workshops with an award wining incubator Design-Collaborative-Studio (iDC-Studio).
