San San Smith has a passion for the revival of urban communities in her hometown of St. Louis. She believes the Sustainability Movement is finally coming around to how many folks already live as stewards of the good earth. She is active in the West End community, Green Rivers Greenway Action Groups, and started the Maple Community Garden. Over the span of 25 years as architect, she has completed many historic renovations city wide, and is experienced in residential and commercial projects. While working on a variety of projects locally and internationally, she has been project architect and project manager in charge of quality control, utilizing her knowledge in construction, materials and method in office and in the field.

San San received a Bachelor of Arts,in Architecture from Washington University in St. Louis. She is a registered architect in Missouri and in Illinois.She is a member of the American Institute of Architects, St. Louis Chapter. She has worked at Archimages, PGAV, KRJ, Thomas Hilton Cohen, Klitzing Welsch, Spine Architects, St. Louis Design Alliance & currently principal at San San Smith AIA, LLC.
