Immersed previously in the field of mechanical engineering as a member of Tau Beta Pi, the engineering honor society, David Chiang now studies at the undergraduate school of architecture in Washington University in St. Louis. Before coming to St. Louis, he has headed to Copenhagen, Denmark for a summer of design studies. And most recently he has interned for an architecture firm in Taipei, Taiwan.
The encounter with CEL happened serendipitously in the spring of 2012. Then through an exchange of a few letters, he was invited to meet with the members. Within minutes of the date CEL’s ambitious vision and inspiring projects caught his attention.
And it has been a fast fall from head to toes from there indeed.
