Leila Freitas Villela is from Belo Horizonte, Brazil and is an Architecture and Urbanism student at Pontifícia Universidade Católica de Minas Gerais. During the Fall 2014 and Spring 2015 semesters, she became an exchange student at Washington University in St. Louis where she continued her studies of Architecture. Leila is passionate about the relationship between people/Architecture and people/city, and at CEL she saw the opportunity to study that from up close in the city of St. Louis, now her second home.
