Please join the Creative Exchange Lab for the first screening in our Design Film Series held in CEL’s downtown exhibition space on the corner of 7^{th  and} Locust St, 635 Locust Street, St. Louis.  The acclaimed film “Louis Sullivan: the Struggle for American Architecture” is directed by Mark Richard Smith and offers a portrayal of the man who fought for a uniquely American architecture that incorporated 19^th century romanticism and 20^th century modernism.
Richard’s film is the first in a four-part series focusing on “Architecture,” “Ecology,” “Urbanism,” and “Design,” respectively.  Films are screened on consecutive Thursdays June 28^th through July 19^th.
